HealMind is pioneering a new model of care — providing ketamine treatment through a network of partner clinics. No existing EHR was built to support it.
The team needed a single EHR that could orchestrate the full patient journey from inquiry through treatment and follow-up, while enforcing role-based access between HealMind (whole-network visibility) and partner clinics (only their own patients), tracking outcomes, and meeting HIPAA and audit requirements.
We needed to understand every workflow, use case, edge case, and permission.
Because the EHR is fully customizable; every permission, role, chart, appointment type, location, treatment room is configurable per organization. We had to lock the structural hierarchy before anything else.
With the hierarchy locked, I designed end-to-end workflows in Figma — patient onboarding and intake, clinical charting, location and organization setup, team management, and role-based permissions. Then I moved the designs into Claude Code to build a working, interactive prototype. AI-assisted coding helped the founder visualize edge cases, loading states, empty states, and interactions — making it easier to make confident decisions, quicker.
Clickable, interactive, running locally. The Claude Code build lets stakeholders test real workflows instead of scrolling static screens.
